Our promise

You trust us with your family's most personal material: life stories, photographs, voice recordings, and memories. We treat that trust as the foundation of our business. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and how we protect it.

What we collect

• Contact details: your name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email, and delivery address, so we can work with you and deliver your book.
• Story material: manuscripts, notes, photographs, audio and video recordings, and interview content that you or your family share with us to create your book.
• Order details: the products you choose, approvals you give, and payment records (we do not store card or UPI credentials; payments are handled by secure payment providers).
• Website usage: standard analytics data (pages visited, device type) to improve the site. See "Cookies and analytics" below.

How we use it

• To create, edit, design, print, and deliver your book, which is the only reason we ask for story material.
• To communicate with you about your project, including on WhatsApp and by phone.
• To share offers and updates, only if you have contacted us or opted in, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

What we never do

• We never sell, rent, or share your personal stories, photos, or recordings with any third party for their own use.
• We never publish, exhibit, or use your book or its content in our marketing without your explicit written consent.
• We never use your family's material to train any external system or service.

Copyright and ownership

You own the copyright in your story, your words, your photographs, and your finished book. Our work is a service to you; ownership of the content always remains with you or with the family members who provided it.

Living Book media

For Living Book editions, voice and video clips are hosted securely so QR codes in the printed book continue to work. Hosting is guaranteed for a minimum of 10 years from delivery, and every family receives a downloadable archival copy of all recordings, so the memories are always in your own hands. Hosting is consent-based: we take written consent from the family before publishing any clip, and you may ask us to remove or replace clips at any time. If the service is ever discontinued, we will notify you and hand over all files to the family before anything is taken offline.

Storage and security

Your material is stored on access-controlled systems and shared internally only with the team members working on your book, all of whom are bound by confidentiality. Physical materials (albums, documents) you lend us are logged, handled carefully, and returned with your delivery.

Retention and deletion

We retain your book files so reprints and extra copies are easy for your family in the future. If you would like your material and files deleted after delivery, tell us in writing and we will delete them, keeping only the minimal records the law requires.

Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel) to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising. These tools collect usage data, not your story material. You can block cookies in your browser at any time.

Your rights
